Fashion Designer

  • Worked on Fall Trans 2025, Fall 2025, Winter 2025, Holiday 2025, and Spring 2025, dresses, sweaters, woven tops, knit tops, athleisure, and travel collections.

  • Collaborated with the design team and product development to communicate effectively with vendors throughout the product development process.

  • Led the integration of AI into the design workflow by working with Raspberry Pi–based AI software; created AI-generated design outputs and converted them into functional textile prototypes and finished garments.

  • Managed multiple seasons at various stages of development while adhering to development calendar deadlines.

  • Participated in post-seasonal vendor design meetings and sourced silhouettes for line fulfillment.

  • Conducted research and development of key fabrics, prints, patterns, and trims.

Fashion Designer

  • Updated multi-category design presentations, line sheets, and factory decks using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and PLM—integrating revised silhouettes, fit comments, technical adjustments, and delivery calendars while documenting detailed fitting notes and maintaining accurate spec sheets.

  • Developed advanced knitwear and crochet swatches in collaboration with the knitwear development team—experimenting with stitch structures, yarn manipulations, and construction techniques. Streamlined the proto-to-production pipeline by coordinating with overseas vendors, ensuring technical feasibility, consistency in gauge, and alignment with the seasonal design direction.

  • Designed original prints, colorways, and surface variations for the Spring 2025 and Fall 2025 collections using Photoshop, Procreate, and NedGraphics; produced high-resolution mockups and engineered placement print and embroidery CADs for bulk production, and collaborated with partner factories in China to refine repeat layouts, thread mappings, and embellishment specifications.

  • Partnered closely with the marketing and creative direction teams to craft refined print and digital invitations for New York Fashion Week SS23 and FW23, developing sophisticated layouts, typography, and visual identities using Adobe Suite to uphold the brand’s luxury aesthetic and narrative cohesion.

  • Produced impeccably detailed CADs and luxury-level technical product tech packs for the Marina Larroude collaboration, including precision construction notes, graded specs, fabrication mapping, embellishment placements, and trim specifications to ensure seamless execution with artisanal and factory partners.

  • Contributed to seasonal design collections by developing visually compelling presentation decks, refining technical sketches, and print/color direction boards.   • Worked closely with production, merchandising, and sales teams to translate design concepts into feasible products—aligning silhouettes, construction details, print placements, and fabric choices to ensure smooth handoff from design to development.

  • Coordinated with overseas manufacturing partners in China, conducting factory visits to evaluate prototypes, review construction quality, finalize fit adjustments, and oversee early-stage production for accuracy and consistency.

  • Managed and updated BOMs within PLM, integrating market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights into design concepts. Considered factors such as fabric performance, costing, target customer, and brand positioning to support informed technical decision-making.

  • Collaborated with artist and designer William Storms on the development of home goods, interior textiles, and sculptural fiber works—contributing to material research, concept development, and product refinement across woven, crocheted, embroidered, and naturally dyed applications.

  • Designed and produced advanced crochet and embroidery swatches, experimenting with stitch structures, yarn blends, heritage techniques, and surface treatments; translated these explorations into functional prototypes and market-ready products aligned with the studio’s artistic direction.

  • Co-led textile workshops and public programs, demonstrating spinning, weaving, and hand-processing techniques (including Italian spinning machines, charkha spinning, fiber blending, and looping methods); facilitated participant engagement while supporting client communication and daily studio operations.

Kingsland Printing, Brooklyn, NY | February 2024 - May 2024

Screen Printer

  • Contributed to printing mass production units and developing graphics for merchandise collaborations with The New York Times, Tiffany & Co., and the Whitney Museum. 

  • Designed and engineered artwork in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, creating precise color separations, halftone gradients, trapping adjustments, and print-ready layers calibrated for both manual and automatic screen-printing workflows.

  • Mixed and modified custom water-based and plastisol inks, adjusting viscosity, opacity, and pigmentation, and performing test pulls to achieve accurate Pantone matches.

  • Produced visually dynamic layouts and graphic compositions for apparel and art prints, balancing technical constraints (ink behavior, substrate absorption, screen tension) with creative intent to deliver designs that remained true to the artist’s and client’s visual vision.

  • Developed personal projects and supported client projects for brands such as Mara Hoffman, Another Tomorrow, and Ulla Johnson at CMP Studio.

  • Supervised indigo and bundle dyeing workshops, ensuring smooth operations and participant engagement.

  • contributed to the "Illustrative Painting with Cara Marie Piazza" workshop, hosted by Botanical Colors.

  • Served as visiting faculty for the MFA Textiles Gen 7 cohort, guiding students in integrating digital tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Procreate) with tactile textile processes to develop sophisticated prints, patterns, and hybrid material explorations.

  • Led hands-on demonstrations and micro-workshops on spinning, knitting, and crochet, introducing students to diverse fibers, material behaviors, and structural textile techniques to expand their creative vocabulary.

Curatorial project that focuses on exchanging dialogues between power dynamics. This research paper examines the craft through the prisms of capitalism and commerce, historical records, cultural relevance, and globalization, which strive to obliterate national borders between similar ethnic groups that live on other continents.
